Haywire Excavation

Land Clearing & Site Prep

Before anything gets built, poured, or installed, the ground usually needs work first. We clear, grade, and prep — including the erosion and drain control that keeps a site usable after the first hard rain.

How It Works

From call to done

  1. Tell us what’s going where

A pad, a foundation, a clear lot — tell us the end goal.

  2. We walk it and quote it

A free estimate based on what’s actually there.

  3. We clear and grade

Site prep, demolition, erosion and drain control — whatever the job calls for.

  4. Ready for what’s next

Graded and drained, ready to hand off to the next trade — or to you.

Questions

Quick answers

Why does an electrician own an excavator?

Haywire Excavation began to assist in everyday operations of residential electrical work, like trenching for a car charger. It has since grown into its own division.

Is excavation a separate company?

Haywire Excavation, LLC is its own company with its own license (Class A Contractor #2705193663) and its own phone line ((540) 533-6081), run by the same people. Most customers only ever deal with one of us.

Do you charge for an estimate?

We provide free estimates. A free estimate does not include any work that may be performed — if we can fix it on the spot, that becomes a separate conversation before anything gets done.
